El nuevo misil denominado BOZOK, tiene una estructura m\u00e1s liviana que el MAM-L, ya probado contra los blindados de Armenia y Rusia en diferentes conflictos, un alcance de 15 km y un sistema de guiado por L\u00e1ser semi-activo y sensores de proximidad, que garantizan una precisi\u00f3n mejorada, respecto de otros \u201csmart micro munitions\u201d que producen las empresas de Turqu\u00eda.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p class=\"Paragraph-sc-1tqpf5s-0 jQOUvm body-paragraph body-paragraph\">ANKARA, Turkey \u2014 A Turkish government research agency has started to mass-produce a new miniature munition to be fitted into the Bayraktar TB2 drone, made by a Turkish company Baykar Makina.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph-sc-1tqpf5s-0 jQOUvm body-paragraph body-paragraph\">The laser-guided Bozok missile was developed by T\u00dcB\u0130TAK Defense Industries Research and Development Institute. It has undergone multiple successful fire tests.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph-sc-1tqpf5s-0 jQOUvm body-paragraph body-paragraph\">Turkey has\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.defensenews.com\/global\/europe\/2022\/05\/13\/turkish-drones-arouse-desire-dispute-in-central-asia\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">supplied<\/a>\u00a096 of the TB2 drones to international clients, including Poland, the first European buyer. Defense industry officials said additional prospective buyers of Turkish-made drones include the United Kingdom, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Saudi Arabia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Serbia, Slovakia, Uruguay and Albania.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph-sc-1tqpf5s-0 jQOUvm body-paragraph body-paragraph\">Engineers have extended the Bozok\u2019s range from an original 9 km to 15 km, and they are working on a more effective warhead and further extension of the range. Work is currently at the firing test stage, according Gurcan Okumu\u015f, who manages the research institute.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph-sc-1tqpf5s-0 jQOUvm body-paragraph body-paragraph\">The Bozok is smaller and has a lighter, compact structure in comparison to the MAM-L, a munition widely used by Turkish-made combat drones. MAM-L is part of the family of domestically developed smart micro munitions.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph-sc-1tqpf5s-0 jQOUvm body-paragraph body-paragraph\">The Bozok features precision guidance with its semi-active laser seeker, proximity sensors and optimized target effectiveness, according to T\u00dcB\u0130TAK.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph-sc-1tqpf5s-0 jQOUvm body-paragraph body-paragraph\">The institute has also developed two air-to-air missiles, Bozdogan and Gokdogan, both nearing mass production.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph-sc-1tqpf5s-0 jQOUvm body-paragraph body-paragraph\">The work on air-to-air missiles began in 2013.
