La reconocida empresa Belga FN HERSTAL, de prestigio adquirido en el desarrollo y producci\u00f3n de armas port\u00e1tiles, ha presentado un nuevo modelo de arma de pu\u00f1o, la FN HIPER<\/strong>. Con su armadura y cargadores de pol\u00edmero, en calibre 9mm y especialmente pensada para el empleo Militar y de FFSS, esta pistola combina las m\u00e1s avanzadas soluciones t\u00e9cnicas presentes hoy en las armas de su tipo. La empresa ha expresado que el nuevo modelo se enfoca en la ergonom\u00eda, adaptable a diferentes usuarios, mejor \u201cgrip\u201d, balance del arma y controlabilidad de la misma en disparos sucesivos. Adem\u00e1s de los seguros de disparo, son novedades el sistema la traba de corredera ambidiestra y el bot\u00f3n de extracci\u00f3n de cargador giratorio. En su versi\u00f3n apta para miras tipo \u201cRed Dot\u201d, FN ha patentado una interfaz, que permite el ensamble de las miras de ese tipo m\u00e1s utilizadas en el mercado.<\/p>\n

Ergonomics pushed to its limits<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ergonomics was one of the most considered and improved aspects during preliminary studies and the design stage at FN Herstal as it is a vital feature for any pistol and a determining factor for any armed forces and law enforcement operator.<\/p>\n

The hand grip has been intensively studied to find the best compromise between static and dynamic comfort. The optimised grip angle, the balance of the pistol and low bore axis give the\u00a0FN HiPer\u00ae<\/sup><\/strong>\u00a0perfect controllability, especially for fast follow-up shots.<\/p>\n

With its retention grooves, three interchangeable ergonomic grip covers and numerous non-slip grip surfaces, the pistol has been designed to best suit the shape of any user\u2019s hand while an optional tactical locking plate is available for even easier cocking.<\/p>\n

The ambidextrous slide catch is uniquely located and prevents any accidental activation by the user. Also, the design of the ambidextrous, rotary operating magazine catch is revolutionary. The shooter can reliably change magazines in seconds without shifting grip while staying aligned on the target. The two levers act independently. When one lever is activated the other remains static, so it will not be blocked by the user\u2019s hand.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0FN HiPer\u00ae<\/sup><\/strong>\u00a0comes standard with a new trigger mechanism, the pressure and travel of which can be adjusted by an armourer. These adjustments allow the pistol to be adapted to the shooter, and contribute to the perfect ergonomics of the pistol and exceptional comfort for the shooter.<\/p>\n

Reliability and safety were not ignored<\/strong><\/p>\n

Alongside a rigid metal chassis and a completely new firing mechanism, the\u00a0FN HiPer\u00ae<\/sup><\/strong>\u00a0also features unequalled sealing against ingress of dust and dirt, with all subassemblies perfectly assembled, with no gap between them. This makes the pistol extremely reliable in both normal and adverse conditions.<\/p>\n

FN Herstal designed a fully polymer magazine using new, highly resistant materials for extreme reliability and durability compared to a traditional metal magazine. The magazine indicates the remaining number of rounds.<\/p>\n

Thanks to its inherent innovative overall design, the\u00a0FN HiPer\u00ae<\/sup><\/strong>\u00a0offers increased safety as it includes all the standard safety systems, such as trigger safety, firing pin safety, and out-of-battery safety, and can be disassembled without pulling the trigger.<\/p>\n

Finally, the\u00a0FN HiPer\u00ae<\/sup><\/strong>\u00a0pistol, in its MRD (mini red dot sight) version, features an FN patented interface which makes the pistol compatible with the most commonly used red dot sights for pistols.<\/p>\n
