Many of the projects are being demonstrated by the companies developing the technology with the agency.<\/p>\n<p>Among the programs to be showcased: an experimental vertical takeoff and landing plane by Aurora Flight Sciences, an anti-submarine warfare unmanned vehicle from Leidos and a new modular prosthetic limb developed by Johns Hopkins University.<\/p>\n<p>The research touches on every area of defense, from such domains as undersea and space, to such technologies as demonstrate sensors, microsystems, and cyber, spectrum and biological technologies.<\/p>\n<p>DARPA Demo Day is open to all military and civilian personnel with a Pentagon badge, as well as to visiting U.S. government military and civilian employees with a common access card and intelligence personnel with blue intelligence community badges. Personnel with these IDs may receive temporary, no-escort-required badges by checking in at the Pentagon Visitor Center near the Metro entrance.<\/p>\n<p>A team from Military.com will also be dropping by to chronicle some of the cutting-edge work.
