{"id":10893,"date":"2022-09-21T09:54:47","date_gmt":"2022-09-21T12:54:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.fie.undef.edu.ar\/ceptm\/?p=10893"},"modified":"2022-09-21T09:54:47","modified_gmt":"2022-09-21T12:54:47","slug":"nuevo-sistema-de-infraestructura-en-ciudades-de-iran","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.fie.undef.edu.ar\/ceptm\/?p=10893","title":{"rendered":"Nuevo sistema de infraestructura\u00a0en ciudades de IRAN\u00a0"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Las autoridades iran\u00edes han introducido sistemas de defensa en 51 ciudades para contrarrestar las \u201camenazas biol\u00f3gicas, radiol\u00f3gicas y qu\u00edmicas\u201d, anunci\u00f3 el viceministro de defensa\u00a0Mehdi Farahi.\u00a0\u201cDebemos estar listos para defender a nuestra naci\u00f3n contra todas las amenazas y cualquier cosa que el enemigo pueda usar alg\u00fan d\u00eda como herramienta de ataque\u201d.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Iranian authorities have introduced defense systems in 51 cities to counter \u201cbiological, radiological, and chemical threats,\u201d deputy defense minister\u00a0<strong>Mehdi Farahi<\/strong>\u00a0has announced.<\/p>\n<p>The defense ministry has \u201cprovided 51 cities in the country with the necessary installations and equipment for passive defense,\u201d Farahi was cited as saying on Saturday by\u00a0<em>Iribnews<\/em>, the state broadcaster\u2019s website.<\/p>\n<p>He added that the ministry is \u201cnow able to identify the threats thanks to the infrastructure put in place to confront all sorts of biological, radiological, and chemical threats.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The announcement comes as Iran is engaged in negotiations to\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.thedefensepost.com\/2022\/07\/26\/iran-nuclear-deal\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">revive its 2015 nuclear deal<\/a>\u00a0with world powers that granted the Islamic republic much-needed sanctions relief in return for curbs on its nuclear program.<\/p>\n<p>As momentum builds to restore the deal, Israel has been waging a last-minute push to\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.thedefensepost.com\/2022\/07\/15\/us-iran-nuclear\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">convince allies to halt talks<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>On August 28, Israeli Prime Minister\u00a0<strong>Yair Lapid<\/strong>\u00a0said instructions had been given to the army and the Mossad spy agency to \u201cprepare for any scenario\u201d in the event that the deal is passed.<\/p>\n<p>In March 2021, Iran\u2019s former defense minister\u00a0<strong>Amir Hatami<\/strong>\u00a0had said that the Islamic republic should be ready to\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.thedefensepost.com\/2020\/11\/19\/iran-no-limit-defend\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">defend itself<\/a>\u00a0against nuclear, chemical, and biological attacks.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe must be ready to defend our nation against all threats and anything that the enemy could one day use as a tool for attack,\u201d he said at an event commemorating a 1987 chemical attack against Iranian Kurds by former Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThese include (attacks using) chemical, nuclear, and biological weapons,\u201d Hatami added, according to\u00a0<em>Fars<\/em>\u00a0news agency.<\/p>\n<p>During the Iran-Iraq war of the 1980s, Saddam\u2019s forces launched numerous chemical attacks on Iran, including the 1987 strike on the Kurdish town of Sardasht in northwestern Iran.<\/p>\n<p>The official toll was 119 dead and 1,518 wounded, but witnesses say thousands more were exposed to what experts say was mustard gas, dropped in canisters from planes.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Fuente:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thedefensepost.com\/2022\/09\/04\/iran-defense-chemical-biological-threats\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>https:\/\/www.thedefensepost.com<\/em><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Las autoridades iran\u00edes han introducido sistemas de defensa en 51 ciudades para contrarrestar las \u201camenazas biol\u00f3gicas, radiol\u00f3gicas y qu\u00edmicas\u201d, anunci\u00f3 el viceministro de defensa\u00a0Mehdi Farahi.\u00a0\u201cDebemos&hellip;
