El objetivo fue verificar las capacidades de sus respectivos productos, para el empleo futuro en operaciones por parte del British Army. La categor\u00eda de \u201cpesados\u201d incluye todos aquellos sistemas con pesos superiores a las 5tn.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>In this context, the British Army say that \u201cheavy\u201d refers to any remotely controlled system weighing over five tonnes.<\/p>\n<p>Organised by Defence Equipment &amp; Support\u2019s Future Capability Group (FCG), the trial featured three companies showcasing their platforms:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Elbit with its Robust<\/li>\n<li>Milrem and its Type X<\/li>\n<li>Rheinmetall with its Wiesel<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The H-UGVs were evaluated based on various criteria, including speed, performance in challenging terrain, and communication systems, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.army.mod.uk\/news-and-events\/news\/2023\/03\/uks-first-ever-trial-of-heavy-uncrewed-ground-vehicles-gives-glimpse-of-future-battlefield\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">say the British Army<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>James Gavin, head of the Future Capability Group, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.army.mod.uk\/news-and-events\/news\/2023\/03\/uks-first-ever-trial-of-heavy-uncrewed-ground-vehicles-gives-glimpse-of-future-battlefield\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">was quoted in a press release as saying<\/a>:<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cOver the two weeks of trials and demonstrations we have had the door opened to where we may one day go with these vehicles.
