El US Army lleva adelante el desarrollo de una LM especialmente destinada al combate contra veh\u00edculos blindados. El <strong>programa LASSO<\/strong> (<em>Low Altitude Stalking and Strike<\/em> <em>Ordnance<\/em>) tiene por objetivo equipar a las Brigadas de Combate de Infanter\u00eda (IBCT), con un sistema port\u00e1til consistente en el tubo lanzador y la estaci\u00f3n de control de fuego, en capacidad de sensar, adquirir y atacar blancos terrestres de inter\u00e9s fuera de la l\u00ednea de visi\u00f3n, en especial los veh\u00edculos blindados. Este nuevo sistema Atan aut\u00f3nomo, contribuir\u00e1 a incrementar las capacidades letales de la fuerza, en el marco del programa US Army 2030.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>The US Army is developing a new tank-killing loitering munition to equip its infantry brigade combat teams (IBCT).<\/p>\n<p>The Low Altitude Stalking and Strike Ordnance (LASSO) program is an urgent capability acquisition effort of the Program Executive Office Soldier, a US Army organization responsible for rapid prototyping, procurement, and fielding of equipment.<\/p>\n<p><b>Low Altitude Stalking and Strike Ordnance<\/b><\/p>\n<p>The man-portable system consists of a launch tube, drone, and fire control station, including \u201celectrical optical\/infrared sensor, precision flight control, and the ability to fly, track and engage non-line-of-sight targets and armored vehicles with precision lethal fires,\u201d Program Executive Office Soldier <a href=\"https:\/\/www.peosoldier.army.mil\/News\/Article-Display\/Article\/3451645\/lethal-unmanned-systems-press-release\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">explained<\/a> in a statement.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re really excited to partner with the industry and bring this capability to our IBCTs,\u201d LASSO assistant product manager Maj. <b>John Dibble <\/b>said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis anti-tank capability is a key contributor to our efforts to increase the lethality of the Army of 2030s IBCT and maintain overmatch against our near-peer threats.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><b>Other Loitering Munition Efforts\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, the US Army last month <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thedefensepost.com\/2023\/06\/06\/us-army-bomb-drones\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">sought industry proposals to arm its existing drones<\/a> with lethal explosives.<\/p>\n<p>The proposal is in response to the Ukraine war, in which loitering munitions have proved their effectiveness.<\/p>\n<p>The US Army currently lacks loitering munitions in its inventory, with only the special forces operating a range of small unmanned aerial systems, including the Switchblade kamikaze drone.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Fuente:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thedefensepost.com\/2023\/07\/10\/us-army-tank-kamikaze-drone\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>https:\/\/www.thedefensepost.com<\/em><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Los \u00faltimos conflictos han mostrado la importancia que las Loitering Munition (LM) tienen en el combate de las Fuerzas Terrestres.
