La propuesta de este consorcio multinacional liderado por MBDA y que incluye 19 asociados de 14 pa\u00edses, ha sido presentada recientemente a la Comisi\u00f3n Europea, la que lo ha evaluado y aprobado su financiamiento, en el marco del programa European Defense Fund 2023.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>A few months ago, the HYDIS\u00b2 consortium submitted a proposal for a concept architecture and technology maturation study of an endo-atmospheric interceptor against new high-end emerging threats, in the framework of the European Defence Fund 2023 work programme.<\/p>\n<p>On 12\u00a0July 2023, following a positive evaluation, the European Commission proposed the project for funding.<\/p>\n<p>The consortium, coordinated by MBDA, proposed\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.shephardmedia.com\/news\/air-warfare\/new-material-could-be-used-for-hypersonic-missile-radomes-mbda\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">HYpersonic\u00a0<\/a>Defence Interceptor Study (<a href=\"http:\/\/xmzv9.mjt.lu\/lnk\/BAAABGNIysQAAchq05IAAOP0DZoAAYCso9YAAAAAAA8IFQBkykxeXZC2jS7DTHe_f3z0zSgYLAAAh64\/1\/Iv0WTvWF0Z_ozO-dh0M2bA\/aHR0cHM6Ly9uZXdzcm9vbS5tYmRhLXN5c3RlbXMuY29tL2FxdWlsYS1tYmRhLXRvLWxlYWQtY29uc29ydGl1bS1mb3ItZXVyb3BlYW4taW50ZXJjZXB0b3ItYWdhaW5zdC1oeXBlcnNvbmljLXRocmVhdHMv\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">HYDIS\u00b2<\/a>), a project that brings together defence groups, institutions, SMEs and mid-caps and universities.<\/p>\n<p>It gathers the best competencies in the domains of missiles from across the EU.<\/p>\n<p>France, Germany, Italy and the Netherlands have already confirmed their support and commitment by signing a Letter of Intent (LoI) and agreeing on Initial Common Requirements.<\/p>\n<p>The objective of HYDIS\u00b2 is to study various interceptor concepts and bring to maturity the associated critical technologies to deliver the best counter-hypersonic and anti-ballistic interception solution that fulfils the four member states\u2019 needs and addresses the needs of the European PESCO TWISTER capability programme.<\/p>\n<p>The HYDIS\u00b2 consortium brings together 19 partners and more than 20 subcontractors in 14 European countries.
