{"id":13502,"date":"2023-11-08T08:24:49","date_gmt":"2023-11-08T11:24:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.fie.undef.edu.ar\/ceptm\/?p=13502"},"modified":"2023-11-08T08:24:49","modified_gmt":"2023-11-08T11:24:49","slug":"textron-y-rheinmetall-presentan-arma-anti-drones","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.fie.undef.edu.ar\/ceptm\/?p=13502","title":{"rendered":"Textron y Rheinmetall presentan arma anti-drones"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Se ha desarrollado un arma antidrones con tecnolog\u00eda de la estadounidense Rheinmetall y del fabricante de veh\u00edculos terrestres no tripulados (UGV) Textron Defense Systems.\u00a0El sistema &#8220;inteligente&#8221; de defensa a\u00e9rea de corto alcance (SHORAD), denominado &#8220;Skyranger 30&#8221;, cuenta con una torreta automatizada de Rheinmetall combinada con un UGV rob\u00f3tico RIPSAW M5 desarrollado por Textron Defense Systems.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Rheinmetall Mobile Air Defence: Oerlikon Skyranger\u00ae 30\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/QeyXmcK1s40\" width=\"766\" height=\"431\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>An anti-drone weapon has been developed with technology from American Rheinmetall and unmanned ground vehicle (UGV) manufacturer Textron Defense Systems.<\/p>\n<p>The &#8220;smart&#8221; short-range air defense (SHORAD) system, dubbed the &#8220;Skyranger 30,\u201d features an automated turret from Rheinmetall combined with a RIPSAW M5 robotic UGV developed by Textron Defense Systems.<\/p>\n<p>According to its developers, the automated turret is capable of firing 1,250 30 mm airburst rounds per minute and can reportedly rotate 360\u00b0 around its mount.<\/p>\n<p>Further the combination of the Rheinmetall and Textron Defense Systems\u2019 technology results in a completely autonomous anti-drone weapon design, its developers explained.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The Skyranger 30 variant represents a significant leap ahead in c-UAS technology by coupling 360\u00b0 air and ground surveillance with an autonomous 30mm Oerlikon Revolver Gun, Oerlikon AHEAD airburst ammunition, and short-range air defense missiles.
