Los autores buscaron hacer uso de toda la informaci\u00f3n disponible sobre este HE para informar el mejor conjunto\u00a0de los par\u00e1metros de calibraci\u00f3n as\u00ed como la incertidumbre en estos par\u00e1metros. El procedimiento utiliza datos experimentales hist\u00f3ricos, los resultados del modelado termoqu\u00edmico, as\u00ed como datos sobre la mejor funci\u00f3n isentr\u00f3pica que se ajusta a los datos experimentales de la prueba de cilindros. La combinaci\u00f3n de todas estas fuentes de datos heterog\u00e9neas en una calibraci\u00f3n bayesiana produjo una media posterior y una covarianza. Al tomar muestras de la distribuci\u00f3n posterior y evaluar una importante cantidad de inter\u00e9s (QOI) en el modelo EOS, en la velocidad de detonaci\u00f3n se produjo una distribuci\u00f3n que mostr\u00f3 variaciones que estaban de acuerdo con los ensayos.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p id=\"d159994797\" class=\"article-section__header section__title main abstractlang_en main\"><strong>Abstract<\/strong><\/p>\n<div class=\"article-section__content en main\">\n<p>This paper investigates the uncertainty in the parameters used in the calibration of an Davis Equation Of State (EOS) for the detonation products of the High Explosive PBX 9501. The procedure sought to make use of all available information about this HE to inform the best set of calibration parameters as well as the uncertainty in these parameters. The procedure made use of historical experimental data, the results from thermo-chemical modeling as well as data on the best isentrope function fit to cylinder test experimental data. Combining all these heterogeneous data sources together in a Bayesian calibration, yielded a posterior mean and covariance. Sampling from the posterior distribution and evaluating an important Quantity Of Interest (QOI) in the EOS model, the detonation speed of a one-inch rate stick, produced a distribution which showed variations which were in agreement with experiments.
