Los aspirantes a pertenecer a esta nueva rama de la carrera profesional en esa fuerza naval, tendr\u00e1n la categor\u00eda de \u201cRobotics Warfare Specialist\u201d (RW). La necesidad de disponer de t\u00e9cnicos especialistas operativos en el \u00e1rea de sistemas aut\u00f3nomos, forma parte del plan a largo plazo de la US Navy, cuyo objetivo es avanzar lentamente hacia una futura \u201cFlota hibrida\u201d, donde los sistemas tripulados y aut\u00f3nomos operando totalmente integrados, sea la norma en las operaciones militares.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>The US Navy has\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.dvidshub.net\/image\/8251849\/establishing-robotics-warfare-specialist-social-media-graphic-1-3\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">established<\/a>\u00a0a new enlisted career focused solely on drones and robotics warfare.<\/p>\n<p>Called the Robotics Warfare Specialist (RW), the new job will ensure effective planning and control of all operations related to the service\u2019s robotics and autonomous systems.<\/p>\n<p>It will also take charge of the navy\u2019s active and passive payload systems and sensors, ensuring that these cutting-edge systems are properly maintained.<\/p>\n<p>According to the service, the creation of an autonomous system-focused job is a major milestone in its \u201crelentless march to achieve a truly hybrid fleet.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The move is expected to increase fleet lethality, capacity, deterrence, and operational readiness.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis dedicated robotics rating will accelerate development of deep expertise in rapidly advancing autonomous technologies,\u201d the US Navy\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.mynavyhr.navy.mil\/Portals\/55\/Messages\/NAVADMIN\/NAV2024\/NAV24036.txt?ver=EjDflojT7af1FYSDW_pJcg%3d%3d\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">said<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u2018A Small, Highly-Selective Rating\u2019<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The new rating is open to active-duty sailors who have the right experience, technical skills, and warfighting ability.<\/p>\n<p>Those who have already been assigned to unmanned vehicle divisions are most preferred to be recruited for RW.<\/p>\n<p>Sailors without prior experience will be accepted for the rating, provided that they go through an electronic technician school or a robotics warfare school that the service plans to open in 2026.<\/p>\n<p>The first advancement exam for the RW rating will begin in September.<\/p>\n<p>The US Navy has not disclosed how many sailors it needs for the RW roles, but it clarified that the new rating will be \u201csmall and highly selective\u201d for now.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe new RW rating will create knowledgeable robotics professionals who will forge the future of the workforce with technical skills and the necessary warfighter ability,\u201d US Navy official Vice Adm.\u00a0<b>Rick Cheeseman\u00a0<\/b><a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/feed\/update\/urn:li:activity:7166484604948832256\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">said<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe future of warfighting requires the enhancement of robotic professions.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Fuente:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thedefensepost.com\/2024\/02\/26\/us-navy-robotics-warfare\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>https:\/\/www.thedefensepost.com<\/em><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>La US Navy ha resuelto crear la especializaci\u00f3n en Drones y Robotics Warfare.
