Elbit Systems has\u00a0sent<\/a>\u00a0the first batch of Guarani 6\u00d76 armored personnel carriers (APCs) to the Philippine Army.<\/p>\n The vehicles are part of a $46-million\u00a0deal<\/a>\u00a0signed in 2020 to deliver 28 Guaranis to a then-undisclosed country in the Asia Pacific.<\/p>\n All five APCs made their first public appearance at a ceremony in Santa Lucia, Tarlac.<\/p>\n The vehicles will be used by the force\u2019s Armor Division, providing operational readiness for a \u201cworld-class, multi-mission-ready, and cross-domain capable armor force.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cOur goal is to establish a stronger armed force for a \u2018newer Philippines,\u2019\u201d Philippine Army Commanding General Lt.
