La introducci\u00f3n del tanque Lyut de Ucrania es un claro ejemplo de c\u00f3mo la automatizaci\u00f3n est\u00e1 revolucionando el combate armado. Actualmente, los UGV son capaces de operar de forma semiaut\u00f3noma, pero no mediante el uso de fuerza letal. Este art\u00edculo analizar\u00e1 las formas en que se est\u00e1n desarrollando e introduciendo UGVS totalmente aut\u00f3nomos en el campo de batalla, as\u00ed como el papel que pueden desempe\u00f1ar en el futuro de las operaciones de seguridad. A medida que la inteligencia artificial (IA) se vuelve omnipresente, es necesario comprender el debate en torno a estos sistemas en los conflictos armados.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Unmanned Ground Vehicles (UGVs) are becoming increasingly common in security and combat operations. The introduction of Ukraine\u2019s Lyut tank is a clear example of how automation is revolutionising armed combat. UGVs are currently capable of operating in a semi-autonomous manner but not in the use of lethal force. This paper will analyse the ways in which fully autonomous UGVS are being developed and introduced on the battlefield as well as the role that they may play in the future of security operations.
