{"id":15102,"date":"2024-07-06T09:19:17","date_gmt":"2024-07-06T12:19:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.fie.undef.edu.ar\/ceptm\/?p=15102"},"modified":"2024-07-06T09:19:17","modified_gmt":"2024-07-06T12:19:17","slug":"otan-nueva-organizacion-para-desarrollo-de-tecnologias-cuanticas","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.fie.undef.edu.ar\/ceptm\/?p=15102","title":{"rendered":"OTAN, nueva organizaci\u00f3n para desarrollo de tecnolog\u00edas cu\u00e1nticas\u00a0"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>La\u00a0<strong>Comunidad Cu\u00e1ntica Transatl\u00e1ntica<\/strong>\u00a0de la OTAN reunir\u00e1 a expertos en tecnolog\u00eda cu\u00e1ntica de los gobiernos nacionales, la industria, el mundo acad\u00e9mico, organismos de financiaci\u00f3n e instituciones de investigaci\u00f3n y ayudar\u00e1 a fomentar la innovaci\u00f3n de los Aliados, lo que permitir\u00e1 a la OTAN proteger su ventaja tecnol\u00f3gica.\u00a0El papel de las tecnolog\u00edas cu\u00e1nticas en el entorno de seguridad est\u00e1 creciendo.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>On Tuesday (2 July 2024) the Transatlantic Quantum Community (TQC) held its inaugural virtual meeting in Brussels. Last September, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg called for the development of a dedicated network which would enhance Allied cooperation and harness the benefits of quantum technologies to strengthen deterrence and defence. Since that point, NATO\u2019s Quantum Technologies Strategy was agreed and the Alliance\u2019s International Staff collaborated with NATO members to establish the Community.<\/p>\n<p>The Transatlantic Quantum Community is Allied led but participation is voluntary. More than half of Allies are already involved, including the United States, Canada, France, Italy and Czechia and the initiative is championed by Denmark as the first national chair. The Community will bring together quantum experts from national governments, industry, academia, funding bodies, and research institutions and will help encourage Allied innovation enabling NATO protect its technological edge.<\/p>\n<p>The role of quantum technologies in the security environment is growing and the Community will help NATO engage with critical issues.
