Este evento caus\u00f3 un verdadero shock, que desaf\u00eda no solamente al sector energ\u00e9tico, sino tambi\u00e9n a la resiliencia y capacidad de supervivencia de los sistemas pol\u00edticos democr\u00e1ticos y la econom\u00eda de mercado. La UE y sus estados miembros, han tenido en cuenta las debilidades que presenta la falsa idea de una confiable interdependencia con Rusia, por lo que est\u00e1n adoptando ambiciosas medidas para mejorar las capacidades propias de suministro de energ\u00eda, ampliando adem\u00e1s los programas de infraestructura destinada a Energ\u00edas Renovables. Este informe integral del CSIS (Center of Strategic and International Studies) analiza y describe la respuesta de la UE a la crisis energ\u00e9tica producida por la citada guerra, que ya lleva 3 a\u00f1os y sin que se observen condiciones favorables para que la situaci\u00f3n mejore en el corto plazo.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Russia\u2019s full-scale invasion of Ukraine in February 2022 triggered a severe energy crisis in Europe. The shock represented\u00a0a test not just of Europe\u2019s energy sector but of the resilience of Europe\u2019s democratic political system and market economies. The results of Europe\u2019s actions have been remarkable. The European Union and its member states have reckoned with the false promise of energy interdependence with Russia, taken ambitious steps to enhance domestic energy supply capacities, and dramatically expanded renewables. However, while the results of Europe&#8217;s actions have been impressive, challenges remain\u00a0in areas spanning electricity market reform to hydrogen diplomacy, protection of critical undersea infrastructure, and import dependencies in clean tech supply chains.
