Estos veh\u00edculos enfrentan una importante resistencia hidrodin\u00e1mica, lo que requiere una propulsi\u00f3n potente para mantener altas velocidades. El estudio realiz\u00f3 m\u00e1s de 20 experimentos din\u00e1micos utilizando una instalaci\u00f3n de prueba \u00fanica dise\u00f1ada para probar el estatorreactor marino en diversas condiciones de crucero submarino. Se variaron par\u00e1metros como las velocidades de crucero, las relaciones de masa de agua en el propulsante y las relaciones de masa de oxidante a combustible para crear un mapa de rendimiento completo del estatorreactor marino. Los resultados mostraron que a altas velocidades submarinas, el estatorreactor marino supera significativamente a los motores de cohetes regulares al aumentar sustancialmente el impulso espec\u00edfico y el empuje. El impulso espec\u00edfico mejor\u00f3 aproximadamente un 55 % en comparaci\u00f3n con un cohete h\u00edbrido regular, alcanzando un valor m\u00e1ximo de 380 segundos. Los datos experimentales coinciden estrechamente con los c\u00e1lculos te\u00f3ricos y los datos de disparo est\u00e1tico, lo que valida la eficacia del dise\u00f1o del estatorreactor marino. La mejora significativa del rendimiento demuestra el potencial de este sistema de propulsi\u00f3n para veh\u00edculos submarinos de alta velocidad, que ofrece una eficiencia y un empuje mejorados en comparaci\u00f3n con las tecnolog\u00edas de cohetes convencionales.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Abstract<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>High-speed submerged marine vehicles, such as torpedoes, traveling at velocities of an order of 100 m\/s and above, require powerful propulsion to overcome the tremendous hydrodynamic drag. This paper aims to investigate a marine hybrid-propellant water-breathing ram rocket (marine ramjet or ducted rocket) under various underwater cruise conditions. At high underwater cruise speeds, the ram rocket outperforms regular rocket motors, substantially increasing its specific impulse and thrust. This investigation utilized a unique test facility capable of dynamically testing the marine ramjet. Over 20 dynamic experiments have been conducted, revealing the submerged motor characteristics at different cruise speeds, water-to-propellant mass ratios, and oxidizer-to-fuel mass ratios, thereby creating a performance map of the marine ramjet. The results were compared with static firing data and theoretical calculations, showing a good agreement with standard specific impulse improvement of about 55% compared to a regular hybrid rocket, reaching a maximum value of 380 s.
