El l\u00edder de Corea del Norte (NK) Kim Jong Un, supervis\u00f3 en test de lanzamiento de su nuevo Misil Bal\u00edstico Intercontinental (ICBM) propulsado por combustible s\u00f3lido. El ensayo del ICBM Hwasong \u2013 19, se produce en momentos en que NK fue denunciada y criticada por distintos pa\u00edses y organismos, debido al env\u00edo de m\u00e1s de 8.000 soldados a combatir con las FFAA de Rusia en la guerra contra Ucrania. El sitio oficial de NK\u00a0Korean Central News Agency<\/em>, afirm\u00f3 que el lanzamiento es una demostraci\u00f3n concreta que \u201cla decisi\u00f3n de NK de desarrollar y producir vectores capaces de portar cargas nucleares a grandes distancias, es algo irreversible\u201d. Y que este lanzamiento \u201ces una acci\u00f3n militar apropiada, para enviar un mensaje concreto a los eventuales enemigos de NK\u201d.<\/p>\n

North Korea\u2019s latest weapons test \u201cperfected\u201d its newest and most advanced solid-fuel intercontinental ballistic missile, state media\u00a0said<\/a>\u00a0Friday, as global criticism mounts over\u00a0Pyongyang\u2019s purported deployment of troops to Russia<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Leader\u00a0Kim Jong Un<\/strong>\u00a0oversaw the test of the Hwasong-19 missile, which flew higher and further than any previous missile, according to the North and to Seoul and Tokyo\u2019s militaries, which tracked it in real-time.<\/p>\n

The official\u00a0Korean Central News Agency<\/em>\u00a0hailed it as \u201cthe world\u2019s strongest strategic missile\u201d and leader Kim \u201cexpressed great satisfaction\u201d at the successful launch.<\/p>\n

Developing advanced solid-fuel missiles \u2014 which are quicker to launch and harder to detect and destroy \u2014 has long been a goal for Kim.<\/p>\n

The test proved that North Korea\u2019s \u201cdevelopment and manufacture of nuclear delivery means\u2026 is absolutely irreversible,\u201d according to\u00a0KCNA<\/em>.<\/p>\n

The missile is now a \u201cperfected weapon system,\u201d the agency said, with Kim describing the launch as an \u201cappropriate military action\u201d to send a message to the country\u2019s rivals.<\/p>\n

North Korea \u201cwould never change its line of bolstering up its nuclear forces,\u201d it said.<\/p>\n

State media released pictures of the ICBM and Kim observing the test in his signature black leather jacket, accompanied by his daughter,\u00a0Kim Ju Ae<\/strong>, who Seoul\u2019s spy agency recently said was being groomed as Kim\u2019s heir.<\/p>\n

The launch came just hours after US and South Korean defense chiefs called on Pyongyang to withdraw its troops from Russia, warning that North Korean soldiers in Russian uniforms were being deployed for possible action against Ukraine.<\/p>\n

Experts said the missile test seemed to have been carried out to divert attention from mounting international criticism over the purported troop deployment to Russia.<\/p>\n

The North has denied the move, but the United States said Thursday that up to 8,000 North Korean troops had reached Russia\u2019s border region with Ukraine, trained and ready for combat.<\/p>\n

South Korean Defense Minister\u00a0Kim Yong-hyun<\/strong>\u00a0also said on Thursday that in addition to troops, North Korea had sent more than 1,000 missiles to Russia as well as millions of munitions.<\/p>\n

Seoul has long accused the nuclear-armed North of sending weapons to help Moscow fight Kyiv and alleged that Pyongyang has moved to deploy soldiers en mass in the wake of Kim Jong Un\u2019s\u00a0signing of a mutual defense deal<\/a>\u00a0with Russian President\u00a0Vladimir Putin<\/strong>\u00a0in June.<\/p>\n
