Ante el aparente desinter\u00e9s y la falta de respuestas concretas, m\u00e1s all\u00e1 de acciones declamativas, ocho a\u00f1os m\u00e1s tarde inici\u00f3 una invasi\u00f3n a gran escala de Ucrania que hasta la fecha ha continuado. En respuesta, algunos pa\u00edses han impulsado sanciones econ\u00f3micas cada vez m\u00e1s estrictas. Las Fuerzas Armadas rusas perdieron una cantidad significativa de armamento y, en oto\u00f1o de 2022, el gobierno se enfrent\u00f3 al desaf\u00edo de aumentar dr\u00e1sticamente la producci\u00f3n de armas y municiones. Julian Cooper analiza en qu\u00e9 medida se ha superado el desaf\u00edo, revisando en detalle la evidencia cuantitativa disponible. In response, Western countries imposed increasingly strict sanctions. The Russian Armed Forces lost a significant quantity of armaments and by the autumn of 2022, the government faced the challenge of increasing sharply the production of weapons and munitions. Julian Cooper analyses the extent to which the challenge has been met, reviewing the available quantitative evidence in detail. His analysis confirms that there have been significant increases in the output of systems and munitions used extensively in the war.
