Adem\u00e1s, aboga por estructurar las subvenciones gubernamentales para que se alineen con los plazos de recaudaci\u00f3n de fondos de capital de riesgo y as\u00ed garantizar una innovaci\u00f3n sostenida.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>As near-peer adversaries rapidly enhance their capabilities, US defense and intelligence leaders can no longer aford to treat full partnership with the emerging, venture-backed defense technology ecosystem as optional\u2014it is increasingly a strategic necessity.<\/p>\n<p>In this essay, we present the following arguments:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Fully accessing nontraditional industrial partners\u2019 capacity to develop defense capabilities is critical to future warfghter success.<\/li>\n<li>Efectively shepherding new capabilities from concept to battlefeld requires aligning early-stage defense innovation pathways with the realities and expectations of the venture capital fnancing model.<\/li>\n<li>Fully realizing the potential of this new industrial base necessitates planning beyond innovation programs; the acquisition system needs to include positive incentives for decision makers to accept the risks inherent with moving beyond the traditional defense industrial base.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Fortunately, we believe that creating this alignment can be accomplished with relatively modest policy and legislative changes, coupled with decisive leadership and expectation setting.
