Los sistemas a incorporar son los RCH 155, las entregas se realizar\u00e1n entre 2028 y 2032 y el monto total del contrato es de US $4.000 Millones. El desarrollo del RCH 155 es parte de un acuerdo entre Alemania y Reino Unido de Gran Breta\u00f1a, pa\u00eds que necesita asimismo renovar su flota de antiguos SPH AS 90. El RCH 155 est\u00e1 montado en una plataforma BOXER 8&#215;8, lleva una torre autom\u00e1tica con ca\u00f1\u00f3n calibre 155 mm L52 que puede disparar 8 proy \/min, a una distancia de 54 km. Se trata adem\u00e1s del primer SPH en servicio, capaz de realizar disparos precisos aun estando en movimiento.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>The German Armed Forces plans to procure 229 Remote-Controlled Howitzer 155mm (RCH 155) wheeled artillery systems this year for an estimated 3.4 billion euros ($4 billion).<\/p>\n<p>Germany\u2019s parliamentary budget and defense committees are expected to review the proposal next week and allocate the necessary funds,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.hartpunkt.de\/rch-155-bundeswehr-will-noch-2025-ueber-200-radhaubitzen-beschaffen\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">according<\/a>\u00a0to\u00a0<em>Hartpunkt<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>The initial tranche under consideration is 25 million euros ($29 million), the outlet added.<\/p>\n<p>Deliveries are expected between 2028 and 2032.<\/p>\n<p><em>Hartpunkt<\/em>\u00a0also reports that the UK will contribute a multi-million-euro sum toward the system\u2019s development costs, though a British procurement contract is not expected in the near term.<\/p>\n<p>The UK\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/thedefensepost.com\/2024\/04\/26\/germany-uk-mobile-fires-platform\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">joined Germany in the RCH 155\u2019s development<\/a>\u00a0in 2024 and intends to field the KNDS system under its Mobile Fires Platform program as a replacement for the aging AS90.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Fires On-the-Move<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Mounted on the Boxer 8\u00d78 chassis, the RCH 155 features a KNDS Germany automatic turret with a Rheinmetall 155mm\/L52 gun capable of firing more than eight rounds per minute and reaching ranges of up to 34 miles (54 kilometers).<\/p>\n<p>It is the only turreted howitzer in the world able to fire accurately while on the move, enabled by stabilization technologies derived from main battle tanks and infantry fighting vehicles.<\/p>\n<p>An onboard computer continuously tracks the vehicle\u2019s position and gun orientation, correcting any deviation and permitting firing only when the barrel is precisely on target.<\/p>\n<p>A 360-degree all-around vision system monitors the surroundings for obstacles that could affect projectile trajectory.<\/p>\n<p>The turret integrates a fully automatic loading system for both projectiles and modular propellant charges, carrying up to 30 fuzed rounds and 144 modular charges \u2014 reportedly about 50 percent more than typical truck-mounted artillery systems.<\/p>\n<p>Weighing 39 tons, the RCH 155 can reach speeds of 60 miles (103 kilometers) per hour and operate out to 400 miles (700 kilometers).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Fuente:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/thedefensepost.com\/2025\/12\/12\/germany-rch-155-howitzers\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>https:\/\/thedefensepost.com<\/em><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Las FFAA de Alemania planean adquirir 229 Sistemas Autopropulsados de Artiller\u00eda (SPH) a ruedas 8&#215;8 calibre 155mm, cuya torre opera de manera completamente aut\u00f3noma.
