El dron turco Bayraktar TB3 complet\u00f3 con \u00e9xito su demostraci\u00f3n operativa durante el ejercicio Steadfast Dart 2026 de la OTAN. Operando desde el buque de asalto anfibio TCG \u201cAnadolu\u201d en el Mar B\u00e1ltico, el veh\u00edculo a\u00e9reo de combate no tripulado (UCAV) demostr\u00f3 su capacidad de despegue y aterrizaje aut\u00f3nomo en pistas cortas. Asimismo, durante las pruebas de fuego real, el TB3 destruy\u00f3 objetivos navales y terrestres con gran precisi\u00f3n, mediante ataques simult\u00e1neos con dos misiles guiados MAM-L, tambi\u00e9n producidos por la firma Baykar. Este UCAV tiene una autonom\u00eda de hasta 24 hs y una carga \u00fatil de 280 kg. Turqu\u00eda planea incrementar las pruebas coordinando misiones de m\u00faltiples TB3 desde un solo buque de asalto. De esta manera, la demostraci\u00f3n reafirm\u00f3 el papel estrat\u00e9gico de la aviaci\u00f3n naval en Turqu\u00eda y el inter\u00e9s de los aliados de la OTAN en estas tecnolog\u00edas.<\/p>\n

The Bayraktar TB3 unmanned combat aerial vehicle (UCAV) just showed NATO it can deliver dual-salvo strikes on surface targets, scoring direct hits during a recent live-fire exercise over the Baltic Sea.<\/p>\n

Operating from the Turkish Navy\u2019s TCG Anadolu, the drone\u00a0took off<\/a>\u00a0autonomously from the ship\u2019s short runway before engaging naval targets with \u201cpinpoint accuracy.\u201d<\/p>\n

The demo reportedly marked the first time the TB3 flew outside Turkish airspace in real military conditions, proving the system\u2019s capability beyond controlled testing environments.<\/p>\n

Baykar plans to expand testing aboard the Anadolu, combining a dual-salvo strike profile on one UCAV with a heavier munition release from another.<\/p>\n

The testing was part of NATO\u2019s Steadfast Dart 2026 exercise, described as the alliance\u2019s most comprehensive trial efforts this year.<\/p>\n

\u2018All-Day\u2019 Performance<\/strong><\/p>\n

Beyond covert intelligence and reconnaissance missions, Baykar\u2019s TB3 is designed for strike operations using \u201csmart munitions\u201d mounted under its wings.<\/p>\n

It measures 8.4 meters (27.6 feet) long with a 14-meter (46-feet) wingspan and can carry up to 280 kilograms (617 pounds) of payload, including mission critical equipment.<\/p>\n

The drone can also remain airborne for up to 24 hours, giving commanders the ability to conduct long-duration missions and maintain continuous situational awareness.<\/p>\n

Although still under development, the UCAV is already capable of remote operations, with communication systems supporting both line-of-sight and beyond-line-of-sight control.<\/p>\n
