Estos sistemas, como el Merops de la empresa estadounidense Project Eagle, est\u00e1n dise\u00f1ados para adquirir y destruir amenazas a\u00e9reas como los drones kamikaze Shahed. De este modo, podemos decir que la guerra en Ucrania se ha convertido en un \u201c<em>escenario de validaci\u00f3n<\/em>\u201d de tecnolog\u00eda militar avanzada.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>The U.S. is supplying Ukraine-tested anti-drone systems to partners in the Middle East, The Wall Street Journal reported on March 7, highlighting growing international demand for Kyiv\u2019s battlefield-proven technology capable of countering Iranian drone attacks.<\/p>\n<p>The systems \u2014 tested extensively in Ukraine \u2014 are designed to intercept incoming drones and other aerial threats, drawing on Kyiv\u2019s experience defending against Iranian-designed Shahed drones that Russia has used extensively against Ukraine since 2022.<\/p>\n<p>In that time, tens of thousands of such\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/kyivindependent.com\/tag\/iranian-drones\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">drones<\/a>\u00a0have been launched at Ukrainian cities and infrastructure.<\/p>\n<p>The system being deployed, known as Merops, is a compact counter-drone platform developed by the U.S. company Project Eagle.<\/p>\n<p>This platform launches small interceptor drones that detect, track, and destroy incoming drones, including Shahed-type drones frequently used by\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/kyivindependent.com\/tag\/russia\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Russia<\/a>\u00a0and Iran.<\/p>\n<p>Interest in Ukraine\u2019s drone defense expertise has spread across the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/kyivindependent.com\/tag\/middle-east\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Middle East<\/a>, with several countries, including Qatar, \u00a0sending officials and military representatives to tour Ukrainian facilities and learn from Kyiv\u2019s wartime innovations.<\/p>\n<p>According to the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.wsj.com\/world\/u-s-army-sends-ukraine-tested-drones-to-hit-irans-drones-1e4c983a?mod=WSJ_home_mediumtopper_pos_4\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">WSJ<\/a>, delegations have visited factories and development centers to observe how Ukrainian engineers refine counter-drone tactics and systems based on real battlefield experience.<\/p>\n<p>Officials demonstrated how systems are assembled and explained how designs are continuously refined based on real battlefield conditions.<\/p>\n<div class=\"MembranaAdWithFrame_membershipFrameWrapper___L9_y nts-ad-h90 adContainer-post-desktop ads-desktop--show ads-membership-frame\">\n<figure id=\"attachment_18421\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-18421\" style=\"width: 1536px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-full wp-image-18421\" src=\"https:\/\/www.fie.undef.edu.ar\/ceptm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/image.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1536\" height=\"1024\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.fie.undef.edu.ar\/ceptm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/image.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/www.fie.undef.edu.ar\/ceptm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/image-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.fie.undef.edu.ar\/ceptm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/image-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.fie.undef.edu.ar\/ceptm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/image-768x512.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1536px) 100vw, 1536px\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-18421\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">An Iranian-made Shahed-136 \u201ckamikaze\u201d drone flies over Kermanshah, Iran, on March 7, 2024.
