Este viernes 27 de marzo de 2026, el cohete Artemis II del Sistema de Lanzamiento Espacial (SLS) de la NASA y la nave espacial Orion se encuentran sobre una plataforma de lanzamiento m\u00f3vil en el Complejo de Lanzamiento 39B, en el Centro Espacial Kennedy de la NASA en Florida. El vuelo de prueba Artemis II de la NASA llevar\u00e1 al comandante Reid Wiseman, al piloto Victor Glover y a la especialista de misi\u00f3n Christina Koch de la NASA, junto con el especialista de misi\u00f3n Jeremy Hansen de la CSA (Agencia Espacial Canadiense). Teams at NASA\u2019s Kennedy Space Center in Florida are making final preparations toward beginning launch countdown activities for the Artemis II mission, set to launch as early as Wednesday, April 1.<\/p>\n

The weather forecast for launch day shows an 80% chance of favorable weather conditions with primary concerns being cloud coverage and the potential for high winds in the area. Teams will continue to\u00a0monitor the weather<\/a>\u00a0in the coming days.<\/p>\n

On Sunday, NASA is hosting a virtual Q&A at 11:30 a.m. EDT with the Artemis II astronauts from their quarantine quarters at Kennedy, as well as mission check-in at 2 p.m. with program leadership.
