The integration targets future U.S. Army launched effects requirements, where autonomous systems are expected to extend battlefield reach while reducing the workload on soldiers.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Applied Intuition\u2019s Acuity ISR\/Strike software will power collaborative behaviors across teams of Mayhem 10 aircraft. Instead of operating independently, the drones can share targeting information, track threats, and coordinate attacks while a human operator remains in control.<\/p>\n<p id=\"h-swarm-software-integration\" class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Swarm software integration<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The companies recently completed a demonstration of the integrated system, where multiple Mayhem 10 aircraft synchronized their actions and adapted to changing threats during a series of test scenarios. Its open architecture allows operators to change mission payloads without redesigning the aircraft, expanding its role beyond precision strikes.<\/p>\n<div class=\"body-content t-space-y-4 t-text-gray-900 dark:t-text-[#F5F6F7] t-font-georgia t-font-normal t-text-[18px] md:t-text-[20px] t-leading-8 t-break-words\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Brian Young, AeroVironment\u2019s senior vice president of loitering munitions, said the platform was built with that flexibility from the beginning.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWe built it as an open, modular system from the beginning,\u201d Young said. \u201cThat allows us to integrate multiple payloads\u201d and rapidly add third-party autonomy software. He said the company wants to treat new capabilities \u201cmore like an application than a fixed feature set.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"body-content t-space-y-4 t-text-gray-900 dark:t-text-[#F5F6F7] t-font-georgia t-font-normal t-text-[18px] md:t-text-[20px] t-leading-8 t-break-words\">\n<p id=\"h-built-for-contested-environments\" class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Built for contested environments<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mayhem 10 carries payloads weighing up to 10 pounds, flies more than 62 miles and remains airborne for over 50 minutes. Troops can assemble and launch the aircraft in less than five minutes, allowing units to deploy it quickly during changing battlefield conditions.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Operators can equip the platform for intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance missions, electronic warfare, communications relay, or precision strikes using the same air vehicle. AeroVironment also designed the system to continue operating in GPS-denied environments while resisting jamming and spoofing attempts.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Mayhem 10 Launched Effects | One System.
