DARPA quiere dise\u00f1ar, desarrollar y validar prototipos de sistemas para un Pelot\u00f3n que permitan: la sincronizaci\u00f3n del fuego y la maniobra , el dominio del espectro electromagn\u00e9tico y del ciberespacio, presentando los datos e informaci\u00f3n \u00fatiles de sensores y \u00a0drones en un rango de mil metros\u2026<!--more--><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.upi.com\/Defense-News\/2017\/08\/11\/Lockheed-Martin-receives-contract-for-Squad-X-infantry-technology-program\/4291502455844\/\" target=\"blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Lockheed Martin has received a $12.9 million U.S. Defense Department contract for the Squad X Experimentation program for dismounted infantry combat systems.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The contract will go toward design and testing for prototypes of equipment for combined-arms squads. Work will be conducted in Grand Prairie, Texas and other locations throughout the U.S. and should finish by Aug. 14, 2019.<\/p>\n<p>The DARPA squad-x would provide mechanized and airborne units access to real-time surveillance feeds and other technology. Currently this technology is too bulky, heavy and complex for a small unit on foot to leverage.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/defensesystems.com\/articles\/2016\/09\/20\/darpa-lockheed-squad-x-phase-ii.aspx\" target=\"blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">In 2016, DARPA had awarded Lockheed Martin a $10.6 million contract to start work on Phase II of the Squad X Core Technologies program, which is intended to deliver the kind of situational\u00a0<\/a>awareness available to command posts to smaller deployed units.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.darpa.mil\/attachments\/Squad_X_Proposers_Day_DARPA_SQUADX_FINAL.pdf\" target=\"blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">DARPA wants to design, develop, and validate system prototypes for a combined arms squad.
