Seis de estos peque\u00f1os drones, fueron lanzados desde un aeronave ORION P3D, permitiendo a los investigadores obtener informaci\u00f3n e im\u00e1genes sin precedentes del evento, desde distancias muy pr\u00f3ximas al hurac\u00e1n y bajo los violentos efectos del mismo, algo que obviamente no puede realizarse con aeronaves convencionales. Launched from a NOAA WP-3D Orion hurricane hunter aircraft, the Coyotes flew directly into the storm, giving researchers an unprecedented view of Maria from a safe distance.<\/p>\n<div id=\"DivAssetPlaceHolder1\" class=\"PRN_ImbeddedAssetReference\">\n<p>Developed for the military, Coyote is a small, expendable UAV that&#8217;s air- or ground-launched into environments too dangerous for manned aircraft.
