{"id":3753,"date":"2019-03-26T11:36:03","date_gmt":"2019-03-26T14:36:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.nachodelatorre.com.ar\/mosconi\/?p=3753"},"modified":"2019-03-26T11:36:03","modified_gmt":"2019-03-26T14:36:03","slug":"la-creciente-amenaza-de-los-drones-para-las-fuerzas-terrestres","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.fie.undef.edu.ar\/ceptm\/?p=3753","title":{"rendered":"La creciente amenaza de los drones para las fuerzas terrestres"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><u><\/u>La proliferaci\u00f3n de diferentes tipos de amenazas a\u00e9reas para las FFTT, que a las tradicionales aeronaves han sumado los sistemas UAS y la posibilidad del empleo de \u201cenjambres de ellos\u201d, han obligado al Cuerpo de US Marines a una revisi\u00f3n de los sistemas de DA org\u00e1nicos de los elementos de combate, con tecnolog\u00edas espec\u00edficas \u201canti-drone\u201d port\u00e1tiles y radares que puedan emplearse desde veh\u00edculos livianos.<!--more--><\/p>\n<div class=\"mco-body-item mco-body-type-text\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"mco-body-item mco-body-type-text\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"mco-body-item mco-body-type-text\">\n<div class=\"mco-body-item mco-body-type-text\">\n<p class=\"element element-paragraph\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\" alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/www.armytimes.com\/resizer\/wafrMnkfistariAAQQMDPmdf3Zc=\/1200x0\/filters:quality(100)\/arc-anglerfish-arc2-prod-mco.s3.amazonaws.com\/public\/VEUM2UAKTJCTHHCWE7P77PJKOE.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"417\" height=\"278\" \/>Starting next year, counter-drone tech for the Marine Corps\u2019 newest ground vehicle and an\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.marinecorpstimes.com\/news\/your-marine-corps\/2019\/02\/11\/why-the-corps-needs-a-system-to-shoot-down-russian-and-chinese-cruise-missiles\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">advanced radar system<\/a>\u00a0that can track everything from toy drones to cruise missile will be hitting the fleet.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"mco-body-item mco-body-type-text\">\n<p class=\"element element-paragraph\">Marine Corps budget request documents sent to Congress outline funding that will see early increments of the Ground Based Air Defense system installed on at least 28 JLTVs and see a total of 13 Ground\/Air Task-Oriented Radar systems fielded before the end of 2020.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"mco-body-item mco-body-type-text\">\n<p class=\"element element-paragraph\">The GBAD system is a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.marinecorpstimes.com\/news\/your-marine-corps\/2018\/01\/10\/marines-look-to-increase-range-and-lethality-of-artillery-mortars\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">combined detection and strike system<\/a>\u00a0used by fire units in low altitude air defense or LAAD battalions, which support the Marine Air Ground Task Force.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"mco-body-item mco-body-type-text\">\n<p class=\"element element-paragraph\">Right now, those LAAD Marines have to pair up and use binoculars to spot incoming threats and then launch a shoulder-fired Stinger missile to knock them out.<\/p>\n<p class=\"element element-paragraph\">With the GBAD, Marines can detect and launch the missiles from a variety of vehicles, from a Mine Resistant Ambush Protected All-Terrain Vehicle or M-ATV or smaller units can divide the equipment between two small off road vehicles like the MRZR for an even lighter footprint.<\/p>\n<div class=\"mco-body-item mco-body-type-text\">\n<p class=\"element element-paragraph\">The first counter-drone iteration coming in 2020 for the Joint Light Tactical Vehicle will soon be followed by an increment in 2021 that will extend GBAD ranges and incorporate both kinetic (think missiles) and non-kinetic (think jammers and lasers).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"mco-body-item mco-body-type-text\">\n<p class=\"element element-paragraph\">The Corps spent $176 million in 2018 acquiring the GBAD and plans to spend nearly another $1 billion through 2024 buying the systems.<\/p>\n<div class=\"mco-body-item mco-body-type-text\">\n<p class=\"element element-paragraph\">The GBAD can operate standalone, but by 2021 the Corps hopes to tie into the G\/ATOR, an advanced radar system that replaces five systems that do everything from air defense to air traffic control to target acquisition and tracking.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"mco-body-item mco-body-type-text\">\n<p class=\"element element-paragraph\">They also want it to work with the Command Aviation Command and Control System, which helps all of the radar systems talk with each other and with tactical operations and command centers for a full-range, shareable operating picture.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"mco-body-item mco-body-type-text\">\n<p class=\"element element-paragraph\">Radars being replaced include the TPS-63 air defense;
