En relaci\u00f3n con ello, el desarrollo tambi\u00e9n de municiones con mayores alcances y precisi\u00f3n extrema, ha dado lugar a proyectos como el kit PGK- AJ.<!--more--><\/p>\n<div class=\"typography standfirst\">\n<div><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\" alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/www.baesystems.com\/en-us\/download-en-us\/multimediaimage\/webImage\/20180129191632\/1434609359000.jpg\" alt=\"Soldiers fire an M777A2 Howitzer in Iraq in December, 2016\" width=\"386\" height=\"217\" \/>Mature solution transforms conventional artillery shells into precision munitions with GPS anti-jam guidance capabilities.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"typography body\">\n<p><strong>Emerging needs<\/strong><\/p>\n<div>Adversaries\u2019 emerging jamming capabilities are threatening the effectiveness of the U.S. Army\u2019s existing artillery precision guidance kits. BAE Systems\u2019 Precision Guidance Kit \u2013\u00a0Anti-Jam (PGK-AJ) technology will meet current and future anti-jam requirements, and advance on previously successful capabilities developed to improve the reliability of precision-strike functions in GPS-jammed environments. This kit will be compatible with existing inventories of artillery shells and multiple firing platforms, including:<\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>M795 and M549A1 standard projectiles<\/li>\n<li>M109A7 self-propelled Howitzers<\/li>\n<li>M777A2 lightweight towed Howitzers (manufactured by BAE Systems)<\/li>\n<li>Miscellaneous developmental rounds and firing platforms<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div><img class=\" \" title=\"Soldiers fire an M777 Howitzer during the Two Gun Raid in September, 2017\" src=\"https:\/\/www.baesystems.com\/en-us\/download-en-us\/multimediaimage\/webImage\/20180129191527\/1434609358931.jpg\" alt=\"Soldiers fire an M777 Howitzer during the Two Gun Raid in September, 2017\" data-alignment=\"\" \/><\/div>\n<p><strong>Technology evolution<\/strong><\/p>\n<div>The PGK-AJ\u00a0builds on mature technology to improve the accuracy of 155mm projectiles. It will increase maneuverability and incorporate anti-jam capability \u2013 requirements for today\u2019s evolving battle space.<\/div>\n<p><strong>Innovative guidance<\/strong><\/p>\n<div>The kit combines enhanced Global Positions System (GPS)-based navigation with an innovative, roll-stabilized guidance unit and antenna array. This integrated technology, paired with a proven, variable deflection canard control method, allows for advanced in-flight correction capabilities.<\/div>\n<div>The PGK-AJ\u00a0technology is designed to help warfighters complete every mission accurately:<\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>Precision at longer distances keeps soldiers away from threats<\/li>\n<li>Improved GPS anti-jam performance<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Reduced dispersion<\/strong><\/p>\n<div>Our kit dramatically reduces the dispersion associated with 155mm unguided artillery rounds, achieving precision target engagement.
