En la feria internacional DSEI\u00a02021, la\u00a0afamada firma\u00a0ACCURACY International, especializada \u00a0en el desarrollo de armas port\u00e1tiles de extrema precisi\u00f3n, present\u00f3 sus nuevos modelos de fusil de gran alcance y precisi\u00f3n,\u00a0destinados a tiradores especiales de las unidades de \u00e9lite\u00a0de las FFAA. Un aspecto a destacar, es que los mismos se ofrecen recamarados para los m\u00e1s modernos y eficientes calibres existentes en la actualidad, como el .408 Cheytac y el .375 Cheytac. En resumen, armas cada vez m\u00e1s precisas y livianas, que disparan proyectiles cada vez m\u00e1s letales, con un alcance eficaz que supera los 2.000, en los calibres citados anteriormente.<\/p>\n

At DSEI 2021 in London, we took a look at Accuracy International\u2019s latest pair of rifles.\u00a0Back in February 2020, Accuracy International\u00a0announced the introduction<\/a>\u00a0of the AX MKIII and the AX 50 ELR but with the global pandemic, this is the first time we\u2019ve had a chance to take a closer look at them in person.<\/p>\n

AX50 ELR<\/strong><\/p>\n

The improved AX50 ELR was also on display with its new spring-loaded butt and now compatibility with using AR-15 pattern pistol grips of the user\u2019s choice. The rifle now has the 3 position bolt mounted shroud safety seen on other AI rifles. Like the AX MKIII, the rifle comes as standard with a two-stage trigger with a weight between 3.3 and 4.4lbs.\u00a0The AX50 ELR has a new 10 round magazine, which has the same dimensions regardless of caliber \u2013\u00a0 .408 CheyTac and .375 CheyTac are also now available options. AI noted that this exact model is currently in service with an undisclosed European military.<\/p>\n

The AX MKIII has had some improvements with a quick adjustable butt and cheekpiece. It has the 3-position ambidextrous bolt safety and the improved 6-lug, 60-degree throw bolt. The rifle comes as standard with a two-stage trigger with a weight between 3.3 and 4.4lbs.<\/p>\n
