Los m\u00e9todos de fabricaci\u00f3n de explosivos tradicionales pueden ser poco fiables e ineficientes para lograr mejorar el rendimiento a partir de cambios en la microestructura del producto terminado, por lo que se necesitan nuevas formas de trabajar con explosivos.<\/p>\n<p>Un equipo multidisciplinario de cient\u00edficos en el Los Alamos National Laboratory est\u00e1 utilizando impresi\u00f3n 3D para mejorar la seguridad y el rendimiento de altos explosivos revolucionando no s\u00f3lo c\u00f3mo se fabrican, sino tambi\u00e9n cuales son las materias primas de partida para su obtenci\u00f3n.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\" alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/c2.staticflickr.com\/2\/1616\/25618541305_7632e9c60f_o.jpg\" alt=\"3D printer makes cones of explosive materials\" width=\"356\" height=\"239\" \/>The performance of a high explosive depends largely on its microstructure, which has historically been difficult to control.
