El Ejército Polaco introdujo oficialmente el sistema de munición merodeadora Warmate, que fue comprado a finales de 2017. Será utilizado por las fuerzas regulares, así como por las Fuerzas de Defensa Territorial, Warmate es un sistema de munición también conocido como dron suicida o dron kamikaze, es desarrollado por WB Group, permite ataques precisos contra varios tipos de objetivos. El sistema es capaz de funcionar día y noche, mientras que la preparación para el despegue lleva menos de 5 minutos.

Warmate is a loitering munition (also known as a suicide drone or kamikaze drone) system developed by the WB Group, allowing for precise strikes against various types of targets. Warmate can effectively combat both fortified and armoured targets, with the help of high-explosive, cumulative and thermobaric warheads. It can also be equipped with a laser-seeking warhead.
The system is capable of operating day and night, while preparation for take-off takes less than 5 minutes. It was exported, among others to Turkey and Ukraine and tested in combat. Warmate is constantly being further developed.
Loitering munitions, especially those cooperating with other means of combat, are one of the most prospective weapon systems. They allow targets to be hit without engaging in direct contact, and at the same time have a favourable cost-effect ratio, thanks to which they can be used on a large scale. They are also difficult to detect and combat.
